GI/Pulmonary
Clinical Support Addition - Building 38
This project
includes constructing a single story addition to house 22 employees
for GI and Pulmonary clinical support offices.
Correct HVAC
Deficiencies Basement - Building 57 IRMS & LAB
Because
the currenty VA air quality standards cannot be met at this
time, this project includes correcting HVAC Deficiencies in
the basement of Building 57.
Correct Structural
Deficiencies - Buildings 7-8-9-11-12-13-17
This project
includes the evaluation and subsequent correction of the existing
structural system of Building 17 and the structural floor systems
in Buildings 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, and 13.
Renovation
to Building 57 SPD Air Flow & Room Pressure Corrections Project
This project
includes correcting air flow and room pressure in the Supply,
Processing and Distribution area in Building 57. It includes
3 components.
Clinical
Education - Building 4
This project
includes the addition of space to Building 4 to improve the
Clinical Education Program and to renovate the library to improve
the functional layout.
Renovation
to Building 38 Catheterization Lab
The purpose
of this project is to install one Catheterization Room which
will allow for increased patient volume and improved patient
care. The proposed location is in the Radiology Department,
south portion of the first floor of Building 38. There is currently
one Cath Lab with associated viewing room and one Angio Lab
with associated viewing room in this area. This project scope
includes the Cath Lab and related equipment and viewing space.
All other functions related to this use, like patient prep and
holding, clean supply, soiled utility and housekeeping are not
included.
GRC Clinical
Support - Building 77
This project
includes constructing two administrative buildings side by side
east of Building 52 to house the administrative offices for
the Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Care Line (GRC) and Research
Administration functions on the campus of the SAVAHCS Campus
located in Tucson Arizona. These offices are to house a staff
of 24 for GRC that are currently housed in Building 60 and 13
for Research that are currently housed in Building 52. The facility
for GRC is approximately 3400 s.f. and 3100 s.f. for Research.
Renovation
to Building 6 New Wet Labs - Building 78
This project
has two components; systems upgrades and code corrections to
Building 6 and a new building (Building 78) to accommodate research
labs and support functions.

This project
includes constructing an addition on the west end of building
77, occupying a parking lot that is currently located between
Building 52 and Building 77 to house the administrative offices
for the 13 staff members of Research Administration that are
currently housed in Building 52 on the campus of the SAVAHCS
located in Tucson Arizona.
