A 301-bed facility, St. Joseph's Hospital continues to meet the needs of Tucson's growing eastside by offering a full-range of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. With its 25 private rooms, St. Joseph's Labor and Delivery unit is the largest in Tucson. More than 2,000 babies were delivered there last year.

The only hospital on Tucson's westside, St. Mary's Hospital offers a full-range of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. Over the last century, it has grown from just 12 beds to a 393-bed facility. St. Mary's Emergency Department is Tucson's busiest, averaging 1,200 ambulance visits each month. St. Mary's also has Southern Arizona's only Burn & Wound Care Program, which has served the area for more than 30 years with the support of local firefighters.
